Barrier PAG

PAG Barrier Fluid

Category : Barrier Fluids
Barrier PAG is a non-reactive polyalkylene glycol formulation that has been designed to protect and cool mechanical seals. Barrier PAG offers excellent cold temperature properties, is a highly clean formulation and is catalyst friendly, containing no harmful additives or impurities that could act as catalyst poisons.
Barrier PAG - PAG Barrier Fluid

Description

Barrier PAG is a barrier fluid that has been formulated with advanced Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG) base oils. These base oils ensure optimum performance and stability even at extremely high temperatures.

Barrier PAG offers superior lubricity and excellent thermal and oxidative stability.

Series Barrier PAG lubricants are compatible with all PAG based compressor oils, making them an ideal choice for gas processing applications where interaction with PAG based gas compression lubricants is possible.

Applications

  • Buffer/barrier fluid for mechanical seals

Benefits

  • Compatible with PAG and Ester based gas compression and processing oils
  • Not compatible with mineral and PAO gas processing oils
  • Superior thermal stability
  • Excellent oxidative stability
  • Extremely pure formulation, contains no impurities or additives which could poison catalysts
  • Excellent wear protection
  • Superior low temperature properties
  • Excellent thermal transfer properties
  • Very low volatility
