HPL PAG

HPL PAG

PAG Heat Pump Lubricant

Category : Hydrocarbon
HPL PAG is a polypropylene glycol based formulation that offers excellent miscibility with hydrocarbon gases in refrigeration and heat pump systems.

Description

HPL PAG is a polypropylene (PO) glycol based formulation that is ideal for use with hydrocarbon gases in refrigeration and heat pump systems.

HPL PAG offers increased operation efficiency, excellent lubricity, and lower dilution rates with hydrocarbon gasses compared to PAO based lubricants.

Applications

  • Reciprocating (piston) compressors
  • Rotary screw compressors
  • Hydrocarbon Heat Pumps and Refrigeration Systems

Gasses

  • Methane (R-50), Ethane (R-170), Propane (R-290), Butane (R-600), Isobutane (R-600a),
    Pentane (R‑601) & Isopentane (R-601a)

Benefits

  • Resists viscosity dilution
  • Excellent miscibility with hydrocarbon gases (e.g. Propane, Butane & Pentane)
  • Suitable for hydrocarbon DX-systems
  • Very low volatility and very low carryover rates
  • Excellent thermal and oxidative stability
  • Very long oil life
  • High VI ensures operation over a wide temperature range
  • Superior carbon and varnish control
